I traveled to Denver to look at colleges. The location of the hotel was exactly what I needed: on a 2-block stretch of road surrounded by 5-6 other hotels, 20 minutes from the airport, separated from the more populated regions of Denver. The hotel itself was simple and efficient; they had an airport shuttle from the hotel every 20-minutes (especially good if you drop-off your rental car a day early before your flight). The breakfast buffet was appetizing and had a lot more to offer than a bagel-and-cream-cheese "continental breakfast". My room was nice and heard barely any traffic noise (although it looked like more time was spent updating the lobby than the rooms themselves). They had an on-site security guard, and a Ruby Tuesdays right across the street. Staff was polite and helpful, and there were computers downstairs with internet (if you forget your laptop). The hotel was just right, and worked out perfect for my travels.

Hotel was very clean, both our room and the common areas. Location is not right next to the airport, which is good for noise; there are no busy roads near the hotel and the aiport is far enough away so that it is a very quiet hotel. Complimentary shuttle service was prompt and efficient. We used it three times while we were there, once to the airport early in the evening so we could catch a city bus to go downtown, then back to the hotel later that night. Once again early in the mornimg to catch our flight. The shuttle was right on time both at the airport and at the hotel. The hotel was clean and quiet, super comfortable bed and pillows, all added up to a good night's sleep, which was exactly what we were there for. Only a couple of restaurants across the street, not too many choices if you're walking,. We went downtown to the 16th street mall, which had everything you could want. Was a bit of an ordeal getting downtown on the city bus, but was worth it once we got there. Warning: cith bus is expensive, 10 bucks per person one way.

Although the hotel was clean, there was an air freshener smell from the time I walked into the lobby that hung on my clothes 2 days after I had left the hotel. I had a headache for about 36 hours. Couldn"t leave my car and catch the shuttle to DIA.
